Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the Church (Book of Common Prayer, p. 298). At St. Mark’s, we welcome people into the community of faith in this sacrament of inclusion. Baptisms are meant to happen in community; the days for Holy Baptism are outlined in the Book of Common Prayer and offers us the opportunity to both celebrate those being baptized and to renew our own baptismal covenant.
Baptism preparation for parents and godparents will be the preceding day at 9.30am. In 2018, baptisms will be done on the following dates:
April 1, Easter Day (Meeting March 31 at 9.30am)
