How You Can Help
Updates will be posted as we get them.
St. Peter's Episcopal Church
St. Mark's has entered into a long-term partnership with St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Rockport, Texas, a church in our diocese whose community was hit hard by the hurricane. There will be many opportunities to provide help (personally, financially, and by sending supplies and goods) over the next several months.
NEEDED: 18" by 24" Plastic Tubs & Reusable Grocery Bags
We are collecting 18" by 24" new or gently used plastic tubs as well as reusable grocery bags from now until September 22. If you are donating a gently used plastic tub, please make sure it has been cleaned thoroughly and has a lid.
Make a donation
We want to emphasize that right now, making a financial donation is the best way to help. Until we receive word about how we can help in the affected areas, we encourage your donations to the Diocese of West Texas, Episcopal Development and Relief, or to St. Mark's. You'll find the links below.
The Episcopal Diocese of West Texas - These funds will be made available as our churches begin to assess their needs and the needs of their congregations.
Episcopal Development and Relief - Episcopal Relief & Development is working with dioceses in the hurricane's path to best support responses and address needs as more information becomes available.
St. Mark's - We are accepting donations to be used once we know how we as a community can help. Please give to "Disaster Relief."
South Texas Blood & Tissue Center - In response to the critical need for blood throughout south and southeast Texas, please consider donating blood if able. To schedule an appointment, call 210-731-5590 or visit the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center website.
