Family All Church Concerts

Music from St. Mark’s presents Evensong + with Meg Harper, guest organist, on Sunday, March 26. The afternoon begins at 3:30 pm with a recital by Dr. Harper, followed by Choral Evensong at 4 pm presented by the St. Mark’s Choir. Recital selections include Master Tallis's Testament by Herbert Howells, I Love Thee, My Lord by George Shearing, and Sei gegrüβet, Jesu gütig, BWV 768, by Johann Sebastian Bach. 

Margaret Harper is a Dallas TX-based organist and harpsichordist whose career combines performing, teaching, work in sacred music, and a passion for new music. She has performed across the U.S., as well as in central Europe and southeast Asia, and serves as the Associate Director of Music and Organist at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, TX, one of the largest Episcopal churches in the U.S. For the 2022-2023 academic year, Margaret is Visiting Instructor of Organ at Baylor University's School of Music, where she heads the organ studio and teaches organ major undergraduate and graduate students.
