Amy Ickes

Community Engagement Coordinator

About

Whether you’ve been here since you were born or are brand new and looking for ways to get involved at St. Mark's, Amy, our Community Engagement Coordinator, would love to grab a snack and visit with you. She has worked in community engagement roles in multiple faith communities and enjoys getting to hear people’s stories, and helping them find ways to use their spiritual gifts, to grow in their faith, and to connect with new friends.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Development and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling. She has worked as a teacher, peer counselor, and as a coach and consultant for women in vocational ministry.

Amy shared, "I'm passionate about exploring the interests and gifts of those drawn to the church to help them find belonging. When I'm not wandering the halls of St. Mark's, you'll find me outside hiking, biking, kayaking, and swimming, or, when the weather is bad, nerding out over church history books, cheering on the Steelers, and cuddling with my bent-tailed cat, Bentley."
