Laura Wickham

Laura joined the staff in August 2023, but has been a member of St. Mark’s since 2017.  She served as junior warden (vestry class of 2022) and continues serving as a lector, intercessor, lay Eucharistic minister, as well as a greeter. Prior to St. Mark’s she volunteered in many capacities at her daughters’ schools and other non-profit organizations in the cities in which she resided. Professionally, Laura served as development coordinator at small social service agency in Erie, Pennsylvania before moving to support her husband’s active duty military career and raise her beautiful daughters. The outward expressions of committing to Christ through acts of service, prayer, and hospitality exhibited by the members of St. Mark’s are what she admires most about this community. After many moves with her family as a military spouse, St. Mark’s was a place that finally felt like her home.

 

Laura enjoys thrifting for treasures to decorate her home, dresses, rescuing houseplants (and sometimes dogs), working out with friends, camping in her vintage Shasta trailer, and spending quality time with her family.
