About the event

We continue the splendor of the Easter season through music with celebrated organist, improviser, and composer Bruce Neswick. The afternoon begins at 3:30 p.m. with a recital by Neswick, followed by Choral Evensong at 4 p.m. sung by the St. Mark’s Choir under the direction of Bruce. The organ recital include works by J.S. Bach, César Franck, and David Hurd. Choral Evensong includes works by Herbert Howells, Kenneth Leighton, Bernard Rose, and C.V. Stanford. A reception follows and all are welcome.

 

Bruce Neswick enjoys immense popularity and is in tremendous demand throughout the country as organist, improviser, choral conductor and trainer, commissioned composer, and hymn festival leader. He holds the Fellowship degree from the Royal School of Church Music and is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University and Yale University’s School of Music and Institute of Sacred Music.  Bruce has served in several Episcopal cathedrals across the country including…
