Music from St. Mark's presents: Evensong + Lorna Peters, harpsichord

Please join us for the first Evensong + of the season!  The afternoon begins at 3:30 pm with a recital by acclaimed harpsichordist, Lorna Peters. Dr. Peters is currently artistic director of Sinfonia Spirituosa, a period-instrument Baroque orchestra based in Sacramento, California. She will present an all-French program featuring works by Jean-Henri d’Anglebert, Jean-Philippe Rameau, and Jean-Baptiste-Antoine Forqueray. The recital is followed by Choral Evensong at 4:00 pm, sung by the St. Mark’s Choir, includes music by Howard Helvey, Philip Moore, Peter Aston, and Sydney Campbell.  A festive reception follows Evensong, and all are welcome.
