Charles “Ched” Hinger

I was born in Springfield, Ohio, came of age in San Antonio, completed my initial degree at The University of Texas and my terminal degree in Berkeley, California.

My husband, Jay Beatty, and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary. We have one daughter, Noelle Hart, 30, and a grandson, Ciel, 7.

My professional career in San Francisco included various management roles in contracts and grants, program management, finance, design, and nonprofit development.

Upon retirement in 2020, Jay and I relocated to San Antonio and now reside in the Rogers Ranch neighborhood on the far north side.

Over the years, I have volunteered for several community organizations and have actively participated in my church communities, serving on committees, church councils/vestries, and regional/diocesan committees and organizations.
