About
We joined St. Mark's in 1998, drawn by the beautiful sanctuary space, the wonderful music program, and the welcoming nature of everyone we met. Our three children were baptized and confirmed here, cared for by the loving nursery team, and served St. Mark's in the boy and girl choir and later as acolytes. Our spiritual home is here. Even when we moved to Florida for three years, we always returned to St. Mark's on every visit to San Antonio.
I have been an usher since joining, and I love greeting people and assisting with the worship service. I have also served as the St. Mark's liaison to Habitat for Humanity, on the Commission on Ministry committee, the re-visioning of the Lenten offering committee, and the Finance committee. I have volunteered serving during Lenten Luncheons and Christmas to the Streets.
I support every way St. Mark's lives out its position as a downtown church ministering to people in need of food, shelter, and spiritual support, and by providing a safe, beautiful space with an unmatched music program. I am a good listener and a consensus builder by nature. I am a problem solver who seeks to get tasks accomplished on time and as planned. I am honored to serve on the Vestry and will give it my best effort and the attention it deserves.
