Music from St. Mark's presents: Evensong + Eliconian Baroque

Music from St. Mark’s begins the season with violinist, Nadia Lesinska, and harpsichordist, Nadia Soree, collaborating in a recital at 3:30 p.m. The recital will feature J.S. Bach’s violin and obligato harpsichord Sonata No. 1 in B minor, BWV 1014, and Sonata No 4 in C minor, BWV 1017. Choral Evensong at 4 p.m., sung by the St. Mark’s Choir and Senior Choristers, includes music by Edward Bairstow, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, William Mathias, and Philip Radcliffe. Evensong lasts around 45 minutes and is a great way to pause for beauty and solace in our sacred space. A reception follows and all are welcome. Music from St. Mark’s is offered free of charge to the community through the generous support of the St. Cecilia Guild.
