Music from St. Mark's presents: Evensong + Kyle Ritter, organ

The afternoon begins at 3:30 pm with a recital by Kyle Ritter, Canon for Music at the Cathedral of All Souls, Asheville, North Carolina. He will perform organ works by Alec Wyton, Frank Bridge, and Brenda Porter. Choral Evensong at 4:00 pm, sung by the St. Mark’s Choir, includes music by Edward Bairstow, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange, Bryan Kelly, and Balfour Gardiner. Evensong usually lasts around 45 minutes and is a great way to pause for beauty and solace in our sacred space. A reception follows and all are welcome. Music from St. Mark’s is offered free of charge to the community through the generous support of the St. Cecilia Guild. Register to let us know you are coming.
